1) Although the area to be developed is Flood Category 1, the majority of the site is Category 2 and 3. Riseley Brook frequently floods, and cannot cope with more built land surface at this location, especially given the speed and intensity of climate change
2) Riseley High Street is increasingly busy with traffic, especially at the Milton Ernest End, and cannot cope with further vehicles at this end. The road is not even 20mpg,
3. There are no proposals to create public open space on the site, or a large pond to take the run off from the buildings
