Development should be focussed around Bedford Town wherever possible as this will support Bedford town centre. Development at site 977 Denybrook would not contribute to the economy of the town centre as people will use facilities and amenities in St Neots or Cambridge. We moved to Honeydon 4 years ago and rarely visit Bedford. We shop in St Neots or online. Once the Black Cat and EW rail projects are finished we are likely to visit Cambridge for leisure and days out.
Even the 'Dennybrook vision document ' (p37) envisages a circular bus route into St Neots.
