This site includes brownfield land not open countryside.

Current highways issues A6/Manton land should not be an obstacle as:

Residents of north Bedford must be able to access new Bedford EWR hub,
this development could provide funding to resolve these highway issues,
which could include new park and ride and compulsory purchase of school land A6/Manton to enable better configuration of traffic movement.

Colworth was preferred choice previously and A6/Manton Lane was not an issue then - why suddenly now?
