The visual assessment of this site has not included the visual impact from the John Bunyan Trail at Medbury lane from the West as one approaches Medbury Farm from Wilstead Road Elstow. As the land slopes up towards the Air sheds the development would be highly prominent in the landscape, visual intrusion, contrary to the development guidelines in the BBC landscape character assesssment. The development, when considered with allocations Elstow sites 3233 and 634 , would mean little rural space gap between Elstow and Shortstown - unacceptable coalescence in the rural setting and landscape of these eastern clay vale villages.
