This is a brownfield site and therefore should be considered over and above any other sites in the county as it is making suitable reuse of land to meet this housing demand and would retain the green and spacious feel of the surrounding countryside. Brownfield sites should be prioritised over greenfield agricultural land which houses many habitats and of course the country still has to eat! Also it is distinct from any other local villages.
