I would like to point out that development should be focussed around Bedford Town wherever possible as this will support Bedford town centre. This also needs to be updated in view of the post pandemic changes in retail, working from home and travel, much of the office/retail space in Bedford may need to be redeveloped for housing to regenerate the town not rely on retail/jobs. Park and Ride is to be favoured over centrally locating transport hubs in the town centre.
