1. This is 'protected' Wilshamstead parish land - not part of Wixams.
2. There is no doctors surgery for either Wixams residents or Wilstead residents - in spite of previous Borough promises. Building more houses without adequate infrastructure is contrary to everything Bedford Borough has claimed to offer the residents. Maybe lawsuits are all that Bedford Borough will respond to.
3. You are snatching away 'green' spaces in order to cover it in houses. Your claim to provide green open spaces is yet another lie.
It is blatantly untrue to suggest that 'Wixams East' is part of the Wixams settlement. It is NOT! The land outlined is part of Wilshamstead parish which we were told would be protected for us if we agreed to the Wixams settlement being developed. Part of those initial promises by the Borough were that there would be a significant level of infrastructure created for the Wixams population. So, where is the doctors surgery which was promised? Why are our roads being blocked every morning and afternoon with bus loads of kids being ferried into a tiny village school because you have failed to provide adequate educational facilities for the Wixams children?
Bedford Borough keeps saying that is wants to improve and provide green spaces for people but then snatches the green spaces away in order to bulldoze it and cover it with concrete. Miles and miles of housing estates are not in any way shape or form 'green'.
