As a Bedford resident, I think that the Local Plan should should require that solar panels are fitted to all new developments even if the National planning policy and other National Regulations do not explicitly require it. If developers object to this then let them make their case in public. I'm tired of the politics being played between national and central government, this issue is too important to get caught up in the blame game, action is needed now.
