The suggestion is that the A421 corridor is used, with a new settlement at Wyboston and some limited growth across each settlement within the Borough ( including urban areas) as a mix

Transport including the better provision of public transport, with better rural bus service to cover working hours which is not possible at the moment. Better provisions across the Borough and within each settlement for older children, young children are normally catered for by play areas, young teenagers are not catered for.

The Council would like to see encouragement of more centres of excellence such as Colworth Park to be part of the development of the A421 corridor which has good traffic links

If people are encouraged to travel to Oxford or Cambridge we will not increase the value of economy of Bedford. The Borough needs to encourage people to bring their business , including hi tech businesses, and relocate to Bedford.

There is a need to consider the locality, so as an example there are requirements within the NPPF about density, however developments of those density will not be suitable for rural areas, and may change the character of the area completely, thus destroying it
