This site is poorly located immediately adjacent to the Melchbourne Road between the
Upper Dean bridge and The Three Compasses public house. The proposal simply
seeks to extend the village settlement along a busy road frontage and has no cohesive
link to the current settlement. The road here is narrow with poor sight lines and
bordered by high banks and hedges. Access/egress on to this road from a development
would give rise to major problems.
