Site Assessment Pro Formas
Representation ID: 3928
Received: 28/08/2021
Respondent: Sir Graham Fry
Representation Summary:
This would create a new suburb of St Neots in an area which has up to now acted as a green buffer. It would lead to the destruction of agricultural land, the loss of natural habitats supporting farmland species such as corn bunting and skylark, a sharp increase in car traffic leading to congestion and increased carbon emissions, and irrevocably alter the rural and open character of the area. The Borough Council has identified other, more sustainable ways of meeting its 2040 housing targets and should not proceed with this proposal.
