This site is the only green space separating Top End Renhold from Green end Renhold and would be lost to 25 new houses. Renhold is a long village and its redeeming feature is the green spaces which break up the long ribbon effect. This counteract the traditional village concept of church, pub, school village green together which in this village is unachievable. The access is not good with bends in the road to the West making visibility difficult.
