Whilst 'a greener, more sustainable, more attractive and prosperous place to live' is a great ambition, I feel this local plan strategy will not achieve this goal effectively. Too much focus on out-of-town development, poor (and at best vague) vision for consolidating and creating green spaces and too few new rail stations (current East West Rail proposals should be reconsidered in this context) leave much to be desired in this plan.
