Staploe Parish Council believe Bedford Borough Council should be able to argue for an extension to their local plan review for at least one year since the Local Plan Review by Jan 2023 was required on the basis that this would align with the Oxford Cambridge Arc. Since the latter has now been delayed it would make sense for the Bedford Borough Council Local Plan Review to be permitted extra time to enable proper consultation and alignment with decisions on East West Rail and the arc.
