Representation Summary:

It is not possible to align a substantial increase in the size of rural communities with Greener objectives. Development must take place within multi functional urban areas with excellent public transport access to workplaces and social facilities, and especially to rail networks. This does not and should not include villages such as Great Barford and Sharnbrook, so called Key Service Centres that have very few key services and invariably demand car use. The 2030 and 2040 Plans are flawed in this key respect.

Representation Summary:

I support having more green spaces and better public transport, walking, cycling, carbon neutrality, however I think the borough will fail to deliver on its quadrants.
Cycle lanes are inadequate or poor. Even walking between Shortstown and Cardington requires on road walking. Housing is generally small, not spacious and medical and social care provisions are hit and miss.
Groth needs to based on sustainability not the use of roads - in direct contrast to looking at warehousing and logistics for employment
