Representation Summary:

Development would be inconsistent with existing developments and heritage in Church End. This includes the church built in 1099 and referenced in the Doomsday Book, listed cottages of historical interest. There have been numerous archaeological finds including Roman, anglo saxon and iron age (Roman villa, artefacts, coins, figurines, pottery, burial sites). The site has great biodiversity with a habitat that attracts both common and rare wildlife and birds.

To build in Church End, the jewel in the crown of Kempston Rural would forever damage our history. I object to any additional development in Church End.

Representation Summary:

This development would be detrimental to the biodiversity and heritage of Church End. This is an area of natural beauty with a tree canopy across the road, and an abundance of wildlife in and around the lane . The development would ruin this and be damaging to the Roman, Anglo Saxon, and iron age heritage evidenced by many finds over the years. Further development in the lane would be inconsistent with the setting with listed buildings and a church built in the time of William 11. Do we really want to build over ancient burial grounds.

This will be a small unobtrusive addition to the village. It will hopefully enhance the area as the current vicarage is not in keeping architecturally with the village.

Representation Summary:

This is a location of natural beauty, with a diverse array of wildlife and biodiversity, owls, and birds of prey are common place. Church End has a church and listed buildings of historical interest, as well as many ancient artefacts found over the years including an ancient burial ground. Further development in this area would damage forever what has to date been preserved for years, providing a destination for locals to walk, and for people to get married. The council is not so desperate for land that it necessitates harming this great location.
