New searchScope needs to be expanded so that it provides an e2e community based approach - as opposed to the current infrastructure only approach. Suggested areas to add include ... - how public facilities (schools, hospital, police, welfare, etc) will be developed to cope with the population increase - how local employment opportunities will be developed, diversified & expanded to support the population increase & greater resiliency - delivering enhancements to drive improved health & well being - changing the borough to support increased self sustainability across all areas - flood prevention/flood defences. Given the potential significant impact, this should be separate to climate change

Suggest plan end is moved to 2050 to coincide with carbon neutral target
Difficult to answer as they'll be different priorities depending on the size/speed of population increase, locations chosen, etc. However its important to learn from previous developments - eg, Wixams, Wootton, etc. Focus on expanding the community - not bricks & mortar.

Priority should be developing derelict, abandoned, unused, only partially used brown field sites. Green areas need to be closely incorporated with both housing & employment sites
Clear instructions regarding flood prevention/flood defences are needed, for example - all developments (new & existing) must be able to cope with a continuous 72 hour period of heavy rainfall
Cycle ways, green spaces interspersed within all development (similar to Milton Keynes), subsidised public transport
Quality not quantity, learn from past mistakes (Wixams, Wootton - housing but no community), create frequent green spaces, focus on communities not bricks/mortar, improve self sustainability & resilience to outside influences
