Introduction

This is a summary of our proposals for an electric vehicle (EV) charging strategy. It includes questions about things we'd like to hear your views on.

The full version of the strategy is also available on our website. The full strategy contains notes showing where the information we have used to develop our plans comes from, and presents the findings from our survey in October and November 2023. Thank you to everyone who responded.

This strategy is about charging electric cars, and when we refer to EVs we’re talking about electric cars.

These questions are to help us understand your current views on EVs. It’s important that our proposals will be helpful to people who don’t already have an EV or have reservations about them, as well as people who already have EVs or are already keen to get one.
