I would like to register my objection to the proposed Science Park at Water End & St Neots Road, Renhold
The proposed development will be disastrous for the entire village of Renhold, having an effect through each of the Ends in terms of the extra traffic which will undoubtedly travel through it.
The land in question is higher than that upon which houses are situated at Water End and Green End and I fail to see how it can comply with the Dark Skies Policy in place.
If warehousing/ manufacturing goes ahead there will also be noise which will have an adverse effect on the residents of Water End and Green End - possibly 24 hours a day
If the Borough considers that there is a requirement for an employment development such as this, there are much more appropriate sites, particularly South of Bedford
The gaps between Renhold and Great Barford, and Renhold & Bedford should be maintained and there is every likelihood that if the Development is granted permission that construction of some sort, houses or business, will fill those gaps.
