I am writing to object to this proposal. My reasons are:
1. It would have a devastating impact on the local landscape.
2. Any structure, whatever it might be, will devastate the limited open countryside that is left.
3. The site on Water End has elevated topography so will be seen for miles as a blot on the landscape.
4. Buildings would impose on nearby houses and would deprive residents of the amenities that they currently enjoy such as dark skies and separation from Bedford's urban sprawl.
5. The open, rural context would be lost forever and you will be held accountable for that destruction.
Please stop this ecological vandalism in the name of progress and preserve what is left of our rural way of life.
