I am writing to you to object in the strongest possible terms to this proposal.
The Local Plan document has a large number of allocations designated for employment. Renhold does not need to be included.
Once you realise that, there is a real risk that once the principle of development on these sites in the rural village of Renhold have been approved, but no development comes forward, there is a clear and present danger of the site being reallocated for housing.
You MUST consider brownfield sites before proposing development on open countryside which is contrary to your policy.
Renhold does not want to included in Bedford's urban sprawl and any development here would encourage coalescence and would sacrifice the unique rural identity of our village illuminated just by stars.
Please think carefully and accept that I am talking sense.
