I hope that I have crept in under the wire in time to welcome that the plan recognises the importance of the Bedford & Milton Keynes Waterway to Bedford, and the benefits it can bring to green/blue provision in the area. This is in addition to the obvious benefits in attracting visitors and providing opportunities for residents.

It is particularly pleasing to see the inclusion of the route in the plan for Gibraltar Corner as part of the green/blue space for the potential development there.
