Additional 100 houses will have a significant impact on the volume of traffic and road noise in a rural setting.Site is located on an existing "A600 Rat-Run" from Wixams to the A600 at Cotton End - Raising safety fears in the absence of speed cameras.
Other sites proposed for development in the village which should be prioritised first as they are better served by the local road network eg : Luton Road / Duck End. This site was also earmarked as a "Natural Burial Ground" - Town and Parish Councils should stand firm and reject this change of use application
