The Oxford Cambridge Arc is made up of rural and high quality agricultural land and this should be retained. As we move forward toward zero carbon emissions we should look to he future for national self sustainability in food production and utilise this premium farmland. I do not agree that there should be extensive new housing development in the Oxford Cambridge arc.
Any large scale allocations over 2,500 homes should not be permitted until the Oxford Cambridge arc has developed its spatial strategy and taken into account 'the need to feed'.
