How would I know if it is legally compliant! I was forced to tick that box.

The complaint is that although the plan does mention greener/better place there are very few steps to ensure this. I am and have been a resident of Bedford and enjoy the environment but it is spoilt by too much traffic moving too fast, cyclists on pavements and now electric scooters also using the pavements. There is little or nothing in the plan to improve these matters despite them being persistent matters of issue in the locality. Bedford could be a much better place to live but the Council is hell bent on development (more housing, more railways, faster roads) rather than QUALITY.

There are specific developments in particular areas but what is required is a grown up holistic approach to QUALITY which can be enjoyed by all.
