Bedford Borough Local Plan 2040 Plan for Submission

Representation ID: 9271

Received: 27/07/2022

Respondent: Mr Nick Timmins

Legally compliant? Yes

Sound? No

Duty to co-operate? Yes

Representation Summary:

The Kempston Rural and Wootton areas have undergone significant (one could argue too much) development recently, both commercial and residential, and there is a real chance that there will be no green gap between these two rural communities at all, should plans go ahead.

The infrastructure serving these areas remains poor and struggles to cope with current volumes so is totally ill equipped for more.

This will be yet another nail in the coffin of our rural way of life and devastate the wildlife in the Marston Vale woods of Buttons Ramsey and the Kill.
