I believe no additional houses should be built adjoining an urban area as I believe Bedford is already too large. I believe the additional houses should be built along the A6 corridor, so that this road is allocated it’s fair share of residential development. Unfortunately, none of the options provided show development targeted at the A6. For those options which include a choice of 2 new developments from the four suggested sites I believe Colmworth and Twinwoods should be selected. Considering the available options, I believe options 1a, 1b and 7 can be discounted as they do not fulfill the objective. I believe the best option is option 5 and the worst is option 2d. Placing the options in order from best to worst :- option 5, option 6, option 4, option 3a, option 3b, option 3c,option 2a, option 2b, option 2c, option 2d.
