There are better adjacent to urban area sites that haven't already been overdeveloped the same way that this area already has. Parts of Kempston Rural have already been incorporated into the "urban area" with the building of the large housing estates to the East of the A428/A6, any more development will mean it is no longer a rural area and just a part of the urban Kempston sprawl.
Between past developments, current plans and future plans Kempston Rural, Wootton and Wood End will just become one amalgamated extension of the urban area, losing their identities.
